Seashell-and-Peonies Refresh and Add-on (3 sessions)
This client wanted to build around an existing piece and create a project that filled her whole sternum.

This is the original scallop-and-pearl tattoo the client had. She wanted to refresh its colour and make it a part of a bigger piece that went from one side of her ribs to the other. Here, I've sketched out some layout ideas with light blue skin-marking pen.

Also from the consultation session: I sketched out a large peony flower to be the centre of the new flowers-and-seashells design.

This is session 1: all the outlines done.

Session 2: colour is added to some sections of the flowers. You can see the old scallop piece on her right side here.

On the other side of session 2: I've added a mirror image version of the right side scallop to the left side.

Here is the completed colour piece after session 3. You can see more pink and turquoise reflection details have been added to the old scallop tattoo.

This is a closeup of the new scallop after the 3rd and final session.
